Icebear

Jason Kahn is a musician, artist and writer. He lives in Zürich. As an electronic musician, guitarist, vocalist and percussionist Kahn collaborates with many international musicians in the context of improvised music. He has also composed numerous electro acoustic pieces and graphical scores written for specific groups and musicians. His work can be heard on over two hundred solo, collaborative and compilation releases.

Phil Maguire is a Cork-based Scottish composer, producing electronic sound works that explore emptiness and emergence, of self, machine, and space. His work invites the listener to engage deeply with electronic sound, uncovering moments of stillness that enable profound and personal experiences.

Icebear is an experimental music project by Eilis Mahon, a musician and artist based in Limerick City, originally from County Kildare. Through free improvisation with electronics, voice, and an array of sonic tools, Icebear crafts industrial soundscapes that shift between playful and abrasive, ambient and noisy, vulnerable and confrontational. Icebear’s debut LP, White Dove Dream, was released by Weeding in 2023.
