Horse Show
July 2nd – 15th, 2026“Horse Show” presents new works by five artists in Limerick city, current and/or past students of Limerick School of Art and Design (2022–2026). Including paintings, photographs, prints and video, the works share an obvious common theme: horses and the imaginary. The works are loaded with humorous and heartfelt references, qualities distinct to this group of artists. Figurative oil paintings are imagined as counterparts to folk and blues songs. Symbolic objects are presented to us with ambiguity and mysticism. Horses may be the subject and prompt, but the artist's observations have become fragmented and romanticised as they are re-told.

Feá McCoy is a visual artist from Cork whose practice spans photography and Moving Image. Feá’s practice emphasises analogue mediums with a particular focus on found archival material. @mccoyfea

Grace Wallis is a visual artist based in Kinsale, Co. Cork who works primarily in painting. Grace's recent works explore memory and metaphor through depictions of childhood, magazine cutouts and experiences of loss. @gracewallisartist
