Geo Knits Slow comes to Limerick from July 3rd–5th to host workshops using secondhand fabrics to construct multi-purpose curtains. Intended to transform indoor (or outdoor) spaces — to potentially brighten, or darken, provide privacy, warmth and intimacy within the spaces we inhabit, these personalised curtains will be crafted and taken home by each participant for their own use.

Geo Knits Slow (Geo Gregory) is a Berlin based artist, designer and knitwear practitioner with a DIY spirit. Geo hand knits one off pieces using her own hand made yarns – created from cutting up second hand textiles, old garments and fashion industry waste. Geo regularly hosts workshops where participants are invited into a space of learning and exchange, focussing on creating an object or garment with recycled materials. These workshops have taken place in London, Melbourne, Wellington (NZ), Berlin and now Limerick.
