This programme is curated and introduced by Dr Temmuz Gürbüz. Dr Temmuz Gürbüz is a filmmaker/film scholar based in Dublin, whose academic and curatorial practice spans a variety of experimental and underground forms of audio-visual media. DIY FILMS FROM PALESTINE was recently screened by our friends at fanvid – Unit44 / Kirkos Ensemble, Dublin.

This screening is a fundraiser – donations go to the filmmaker Mohannad El-Masri currently living in Rafah, Doctors Without Borders Gaza Emergency Fund, Spotlight Team (Gaza-based arts organisation with focus on social projects) & Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign Gaza Fund.
